The “Squirrel and the Penguin” is based on a real-life conversation between the filmmakers, exploring what “Jewish” can mean, while at the same time looking at ways to talk about a culturally loaded subject. The conversation flows freely around bits of half knowledge about Jewish customs and traditions until they hit the topic of the Israel Palestine Conflict.
