This experimental film was created by filmmaker Ethan Shaftel through introducing artifacts and compression errors into an 8mm film clip of his great grandfather shot in 1950. The music, used with permission, is from Daedelus, The Gaslamp Killer, and Airbag Killex. Nick Briz’s Glitch Codec Tutorials (www.nickbriz.com/glitchcodectutorial/) were instrumental in “”breaking”” the original clips and discovering the beauty of purposefully introduced data errors.
